During this A360 Hangout, Sr. Product Manager, Rahul Bhandarkar, walked through the basic functionality of A360 and delved into recently added features and enhancements. He also reserved time for a Q&A session after the Hangout, but attendees asked so many great questions that we couldn’t get to all of them. That’s why we’ve rounded up some of the best questions from the Hangout to provide you with key answers in this post.

Q & A Highlights
Here are some of the most frequently asked and key questions from the webinar:
How does the measure tool handle Revit files that have a scale, such as 1/4″ = 1′-0″?
Set the units in A360 once the file is uploaded to create a scale.
Is progressive translation in alphanumeric order or can specific sheets be flagged to load first?
Now, when a user uploads a file to A360 a translation process begins for the file and all its viewables, like sheets and 3D views, so they can display in the viewer. A360 now makes these viewables accessible to users as soon as they are processed. Label sheets and files to have them show up in alphanumeric order and they will load in this order.
Does the calendar link to iCal or Windows calendars?
A360 provides a way for teams to share a common project calendar, and email notifications are sent each time an event is created or modified. The calendar cannot be linked to iCal or Windows calendars, but it can be exported as an .ics file.
Can users upload photographs and take snapshots of models for markup?
Users can both upload field photographs and make comments on snapshots of 2D and 3D models. They learned that users can take a photo with a camera and add that to the project using A360 Mobile. When a user in commenting on a model, he/she can create a snapshot to accompany the comment.
Is it possible to have more than one administrator of a project to manage invitations?
Yes, there can be multiple admins in a hub, in addition to the ability to make team members “moderators” to manage individual projects.
When uploading Revit files, how do linked models work?
Upload Revit files as an assembly and make sure the links resolve to a single folder. We are currently working on relationships for all file types, similar to what is available for Fusion files.
Can all team members see all markups? Is there a way to control who sees which markups?
Granular permissions have not been built-in yet. Plans to add permissions at the project level, as well as to create a view-only option for sharing, are in progress.
We want your ideas
Automated Batch Loading
One user asked about automated batch loading files with a command line that can be scheduled as a task.
Activity Filtering and Viewing
Right now, in the activity browser, 40 of the latest activities are available to view. One user wants to be able to see all activities at once in an activity view, and be able to filter by activity type.
Granular Version Sharing and File Permissions
One user wants to be able to control which version of a file a client can view. Right now, they can see all version, and the newest version is displayed by default. The development team is working on more granular permissions.
Robust Sample Projects
Some users just liked what they saw; Rahul shared some great project samples and the team received requests for these samples to be added to the default sample pack for new A360 users.
