After months of developing solutions to address the challenges that you—the users—face, we are excited to announce the launch of the new A360 experience. This experience was built from the ground up to make it easier for users to create and manage their design files and project data individually or within a team.
The new A360 is designed as a data centric tool and provides a greater focus on design projects, data and collaboration. The new A360 comes with many great new features and provides an enhanced collaboration experience for all users. We have added an intuitive Live Review feature that eliminates the need to send design revisions back and forth between team members. Below, we give you an overview of the new A360, as well as instructions on how to provide feedback at the bottom of the post.
The new A360 experience allows users to:
1. Explore and iterate on design ideas quickly from concept to project completion
We know it’s important to designers, architects, and engineers alike to be able to iterate on and revise designs quickly and easily. That’s why we’ve integrated functionality to allow you to advance designs from concept through project completion. To deliver this we have built a new overview and immersive viewing experience across all industries including manufacturing, architecture, engineering & construction.
3. Collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders in the design development process
To enable teams to work efficiently, data needs to be easy to manage, access, and share from anywhere, any time. To deliver on this, we now have a data-driven experience as opposed to the more socially-focused experience we previously had. We have redesigned our data view to allow easy access to search, project filtering, list sorting, activity, and notifications. However, we still have an activity feed so you can keep up-to-date on what files your colleagues are sharing and collaborating on.

*For Product Designers, our new Distributed Designs functionality in Fusion enables concurrent design work across designers and engineers, as well as Drawing references directly in A360 on the items Overview page.

To enable users to share their design progress, we have developed a special functionality called Live Review. This allows multiple users to easily join a share-session to synchronously review a design (with no software to install!) on any device.
4. Use data-driven workflows
As mentioned, we have delivered a new UI framework that centers the user experience on project data. This new UI is focused on being easy to use and feature-rich. From easy sharing to finding project data quickly, collaborating on designs is smoother than ever.
Controlled sharing makes it easy to share specific parts of projects with external stakeholders by requiring a password
In addition to what’s shown here, we will be pushing out non-disruptive updates every 2 weeks. This will be based on your feedback as well as issues that we have identified.
Looking ahead, here’s some of the functionality coming up soon:
- Granular Permission
- Branching & Merging (MFG)
- Markups / Design Review
- Active Directory Integration
- 2- factor authentication
- Integration with other cloud storage solutions (i.e. Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, One Drive)
To get started, we invite you to click the “Try It Now” button in the green banner at the top of your A360 account or click on the button below.
